Takeda came to us looking to raise awareness and dismantle serious stigmas around Irritable Bowel Disease in anticipation of their drug launch to treat the condition. They needed a creative campaign to activate in both North America and global markets. 

The Work:

Elevated the stories of Irritable Bowel Disease patients through a Marvel Custom partnership, celebrating IBD patients as superheroes through a campaign called IBD Unmasked. Developed the overall creative concept and copy, then partnered with the talented illustrators at Marvel to create superhero character identities that related to Takeda's goal of empowering patients to be their own super heroes fighting this ruthless condition.
